Why the business coach for therapists cost varies
Three things. Format matters most, because 1:1 time costs more than a group. Length comes next. Access between sessions is the third, such as voicenote support or feedback on your work.
Location matters less than it used to, because most coaching now happens online. That keeps the business coach for therapists cost similar across the UK, whether you’re in London or the Highlands. Experience matters more. A coach who has run a practice for decades and can show client results will usually charge more than someone newly trained. A single session with them is a low-risk way to find out whether the higher fee is justified.
How to judge whether a price is fair for you
Work out how many extra client sessions would cover the fee. If you charge £60 a session, a £297 package pays for itself with five extra bookings. A £66 membership pays for itself with two extra bookings a month.
Coaching for your business is usually an allowable business expense if you’re self-employed. Check with your accountant, because it depends on your circumstances.

What you get at each price
A membership gives you group coaching, courses and other therapists to learn with. You share the coach’s time, which is why it costs less. A single session gives you the coach’s full attention on one problem. A package or programme adds time between sessions, so you can act, come back and adjust. The more of the coach’s time you have to yourself, the higher the business coach for therapists cost will be.
Paying monthly or in full
Many coaches offer a payment plan on longer programmes, including my Accelerator. Ask before you rule something out on price. A plan spreads the cost across the months you’re being coached, when the extra bookings should be coming in.
